Olivais do Sul is a company based in the Azambuja farm – Portel – Portugal, whose main activity is the production of olive in the Alentejo region. Currently Olivais do Sul is exploring three main business areas: olive production in its own farms, with intensive and super intensive systems, with the aim to reach 1,000 ha planted in the end of 2011; getting olive oil in its own mill; and managing agriculture investments in the Alentejo region. Olivais do Sul uses the best techniques to achieve an economically and sustainable production, being in the process of obtaining the environmental certification ISO: 14001 and ISO: 22000
