La Distillerie Basto est une unité de distillation qui redonne vie aux méthodes ancestrales de production de boissons alcoolisées de la région de Basto, en particulier la combustion du vin et du marc de raisin dans un alambic. La Distillerie Basto combine la production traditionnelle d'alcools de vin et de marc de raisin avec la production d'une grande variété de boissons alcoolisées, soit sous sa propre marque, soit à la demande du client. La valorisation des sous-produits de la production de vin est l'un des axes du projet qui sous-tend la distillerie, favorisant l'économie circulaire dans le secteur agricole. Parallèlement, la mise en œuvre de projets de boissons alcoolisées pour des tiers permet d'étendre la production à tous les types de boissons distillées, contribuant ainsi à la diversification de l'économie productive locale.
